This refresher course reinforces key principles of office ergonomics for employees who have previously completed baseline training. It focuses on practical application and compliance with the Ergonomics Regulations (2019) under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 85 of 1993. Learners will revisit essential concepts using a structured approach that answers the WHAT, WHEN, WHY, WHERE, WHO, and HOW of ergonomics.

Course Content:

  • WHAT – What office ergonomics is and why it matters for health and productivity.

  • WHEN & WHERE – When and where ergonomic risks occur in office environments.

  • WHY – The importance of compliance and injury prevention.

  • WHO – Roles and responsibilities of employees and supervisors.

  • HOW – Practical steps for workstation setup, posture, and movement strategies.

  • CLOSING – Summary and key takeaways to reinforce learning.
